Homes For Our Troops
If a company wants to make a bold statement in celebration of its 40th anniversary in business, what are the options: a company picnic? a fancy banquet?
That wasn’t good enough for Ray Frobosilo, the president and founder of Super Stud Building Products. Ray wanted to do something memorable instead of something fleeting. He decided there was nothing more special he could do than to honor the brave individuals who serve our military by supporting Homes For Our Troops (HFOT).
HFOT assists severely injured veterans and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor in order to coordinate the process of building specially adapted homes that provide maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently. Super Stud Building Products has been in business for over 40 years and is a manufacturer of steel framing components and accessories for the construction of commercial, institutional and residential structures.
Super Stud Building Products has made a major commitment to support HFOT by providing the structural components needed to build a home for Marine Sergeant Luis Remache. Luis Remache was three months into his third deployment in Afghanistan in June 2011 when he experienced the traumatic amputations of both of his legs above the knee and suffered elbow, stomach, and hand damage in a firefight.
Super Stud Building Products is proud to be associated with an organization with the kind of reputation that HFOT has built for itself, and we are indebted to the sacrifice that Luis Remache has made for us and his country.
