We hereby certify the Dry-Wall metal studs and runners to be supplied by us, are fabricated from Hot-Dipped Galvanized steel meeting the requirements of Federal Specifications QQS-689 and QQS775D, U.L. and tested in accordance with ASTME-119. Our products also meet the specifications of ASTM A-924 G-40 and C-645, and are approved for use in New York, under Board Standards and Appeals No. 827-SM.
The light steel framing components (heavy gauge), to be supplied by us, are designed (i.e. sectional properties haven been developed) in accordance with A.I.S.I. Specification for the Design of Cold Formed Steel. Framing components are formed in accordance with ASTM C-955, from steel conforming to ASTM A653 Grade A for 18 and 20 gauge studs, joists and track. All framing components (heavy gauge) to be supplied to the project shall have a galvanized coating of G60 and shall conform to ASTM A-924.
