Position Summary

Accounting Manager (essentially a 1-person dept in a financial shared services organization)

Reports To: CFO

Work Model: Five days in office

Tasks and Responsiilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and bank covenants.
  • Support the financial accounting process by performing General Ledger account analyses using excel which reconciles account balances to transaction reports. Resolve discrepancies identified and make adjusting journal entries to the General Ledger to ensure proper cut-offs, allocations, and completeness.
  • Analyze and reconcile bank accounts, and record Adjusting Journal Entries in the General Ledger as needed.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify, investigate, and report on deviations from prior periods.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements using excel schedules.
  • Prepare and submit required financial reports and payments to regulatory agencies, government entities and other stakeholders. Example, sales and use tax filings.
  • Respond to inquiries from Management regarding financial results and special reporting requests to support decision making.
  • Manage daily cash flow to maintain adequate daily balances in the Company’s bank accounts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Work with outside CPA firm to ensure that they have requested financial information for timely filing of state and federal tax returns and that the Company makes timely tax payments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
  • The role requires the individual to be self-motivated in finding answers and proposing solutions.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting Department of a multi-entity, multi-state manufacturing company.
  • Has been the person responsible for doing the month end closing and preparing monthly financial statements using ERP systems and excel schedules.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, outlook, ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately using excel schedules.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities

The role will report to the site Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The role encompasses managing and driving process improvement, safety, quality, productivity, and employee development. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage project teams promoting a positive work environment focused on achieving business goals.
  • Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions
  • Continuously analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement
  • Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed

Skills and Qualifications

Position Summary

SuperStud is looking for motivated and reliable production candidates to add to our Production Team. You will have the opportunity to be part of a fast pace and growing company. We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will be responsible for direct labor tasks related to the assembly of our steel products.

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Job Function
  • Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner
  • Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards
  • Operate manual material handling equipment
  • Lift and carry merchandise as needed
  • Inspect merchandise upon delivery to identify any damages
  • Load and unload merchandise
  • Maintain the work area to be clean, safe and organized
Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working in a production/warehouse environment a plus
  • Motivated and able to follow instructions.
  • Able and willing to work outside and in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent integrity, good moral, strong character and takes initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with people from all levels and departments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English. Bi-lingual, desired.
  • basic math background and aptitude.
  • High attention to detail.
